Results:

• The top number of app categories were - Games, Entertainment, Education, Photo & Video and Utilities. The lowest rated app categories were - Food & Drink, Business, Navigation, Medical and Catalogs.

• The top 5 revenue generating app categories were: Games, Education, Productivity, Music, Photo & Video.

• Relationship between app ratings and version updates:

  • Apps with multiple updates have higher ratings

  • Apps with low ratings need further improvement

Visualizations:

• Utilized PowerBI to create a quick report of app categories, ratings and relationships.

  

Conclusion:

• The exploratory analysis provided valuable insights into the iOS App Store data.

• Visualizations highlighted popular app categories, distribution of ratings, and price trends.
